Course content

The course consists of online learning, at home, where you can work at your own pace. The course will cover the following areas;

  • Components of Fitness
  • Health Benefits of Physical Activity
  • Effects of Exercise on the Body
  • Resistance Training
  • Warm Up and Cool Down
  • Principles and Variables of Fitness in an Exercise Programme
  • Monitoring Exercise Intensity
  • Importance of Healthy Eating

You will gain the following unit upon completion: Level 2 Principles of Exercise, Fitness and Health
