Developing your skills and progressing your career shouldn’t come with a high price tag. That’s why we’ve worked to help reduce the cost of upskilling through our Funded CPD Programme.
From March – September 2026, instructors teaching in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can apply for 65% funding towards the cost of a CPD training course from eligible EMD UK Partners.
Please note, applications from instructors who work within or come from underserved communities will be prioritised.
Funded places are limited and subject to availability with each partner.
To apply for funding, instructors must meet the following criteria and provide the required information at the point of application:

As part of the application form, applicants must submit a short written statement outlining one or more of the following:
This information will help us prioritise applications as they are received.
Applicants must upload evidence of a relevant fitness qualification at the point of application (for example, Level 2 or Level 3 Fitness qualifications, a 200-hour Yoga qualification, or equivalent).
Applicants must agree that EMD UK may follow up after the funding has been awarded to request feedback and reflection on how the funding was used, and the impact it has had on their classes and/or community.
