What is EMD UK PRO membership?
EMD UK PRO membership is a professional recognition program designed for group exercise instructors, offering a range of benefits and resources to enhance your career.
Who can apply for PRO membership?
The membership is available to all group exercise instructors, including aerobics instructors, indoor cycling instructors, yoga and Pilates teachers, aqua instructors, step aerobics instructors, and outdoor fitness instructors.
What are the benefits of becoming a PRO member?
Members receive a certificate of professional recognition, access to wellness resources, discounted PPL, priority booking for events, and exclusive offers from selected partners.
How much does PRO membership cost?
The annual fee for PRO membership is just £25.
How do I apply for PRO membership?
You can apply by filling out the registration form on our website. Once your application is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.
Is there a trial period for PRO membership?
We do not offer a trial period; however, you can cancel your membership within 14 days, after which it is non-refundable.
I have purchased a PRO membership, how long will I have to wait to be professionally recognised by EMD and get my EMD membership certificate.
Once you have uploaded one of the required certificates and it meets the minimum standards, please allow up to two working days for it to appear on your dashboard.
To view your EMD membership certificate confirming your professional recognition, you may need to refresh your profile or log out and back in. At that point, you will be able to download, save, or print your certificate.
If we require additional information or have any questions regarding your certification, we will contact you via email.
What type of resources are available to PRO members?
Members have access to an extensive library of wellness resources, professional development materials, and ongoing support.
Can I renew my membership online?
Yes, you can easily renew your PRO membership online through your member profile.
What happens if I let my membership lapse?
If your membership lapses, you will lose access to member benefits and resources until you renew.
What certificates are accepted for PRO membership to be professionally recognised by EMD?
We accept any of the certificates listed below, provided they are from an accredited training provider.
Please note, this list is not exhaustive, and there are many other certificates, including international qualifications, that may be equivalent or recognized.
