Who are Theatre Led Arts (TLA)?

Theatre Led Arts, based in Wetherby, Leeds, is a performing arts school dedicated to training children aged 2-20 in various aspects of theatre, dance, and performance. Our unique focus on exercise through dance, particularly incorporating ACRO, a gymnastics-based dance form, is also a partner for drama training, musical theatre, ballet and contemporary in performance. Currently, we operate out of a multi-use events/studio fitness room, in a sports association club using some of their squash courts as a base too. Our vision extends beyond just our students; we open up our spaces for neurodiversity sessions to provide a quieter and more accommodating environment. We boast a 100% LAMDA exam success rate, with every student scoring above 60/100. Recently, two of our students achieved an impressive 95/100 in the GOLD LAMDA exam, earning 30 UCAS points!

Our talented students regularly win Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in both drama and dance. They have secured 11 trophies at the Don Valley Festival and 10 trophies at a nationwide Street Dance Competition, proving that they are at the pinnacle of their game.
