How do I access the EMD UK membership platform?

You can login to the EMD UK membership platform, powered by Sport:80, by selecting the ‘Log In’ button from the top right of the EMD UK website home page. If you are not currently a member, the ‘Join Now’ button will allow you to choose an EMD UK membership tier and set up an account in the platform.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Simply click the “Forgot Password” link below the log in fields. The platform will issue an email with instructions to reset your password.

Can I access the membership platform on my phone or do I need to access it via my laptop/desktop?

The EMD UK membership platform is optimised to work across all devices, so you can manage your membership easily on any type of device.

What happens to my current membership number, will I receive a new number?

Yes, you will receive a new membership number on the new membership platform and, if you are a Pro or Pro Enhanced member, you will also be able to download a new membership certificate to showcase your professional recognition and insurance certificate.

How do I pay for my EMD UK membership through the new platform?

Payment for EMD UK memberships will be made directly through the new membership platform, and members can set up automatic renewals for either Pro or Pro Enhanced memberships to make the process automated for future membership years.

Where can I view my submitted qualifications on the membership platform?

It is not currently possible to view your submitted qualifications on our membership portal. However, when you come to renew your membership, you will be asked to upload your qualifications to validate your membership renewal and continue to be professionally recognised. Once you have uploaded your qualifications as part of this process, you will be able to view them in the platform.

Will I still have access to the member benefits associated with my membership?

Yes, all your membership benefits will still be accessible through our instructor resource library, website and membership platform. If you are a Pro or Pro Enhanced member, you will be able to buy your PPL credits through the new membership platform. You can watch a walkthrough video on how to do that here .

Can I opt-out of receiving marketing updates or communications through the platform?

You can manage your communication preferences directly within the platform in your profile and opt out of receiving marketing communications. You will not be able to opt out of receiving service communications, such as renewal reminders or system updates.

Will the platform provide notifications or reminders regarding membership renewal deadlines?

Yes, we will send notification reminders to you when your renewal date is approaching.

When will I receive my Pro certificate and/or insurance certificate for my renewed membership?

If you are a Pro or Pro Enhanced EMD UK member, you will receive your new Pro certificate and insurance certificate, if applicable, on the date that your renewal starts. You will not receive either certificate in advance. This information is not applicable to EMD UK Pro Enhanced Associate or Pro Enhanced Student Members.

What is an EMD UK digital membership card?

The EMD UK digital membership card is a new addition to our membership platform, thanks to our partnership with Sport:80. It is a digital representation of your membership including your membership number, your current membership status and your name. You will be able to add this digital card to your Apple or Google Wallet to keep it accessible at all times.

Is there an option to have my EMD UK digital membership card within my ‘digital wallet’ on my mobile device?

Yes, you will be able to download your membership card and add to the ‘Wallet’ using the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet functions on your device.

Will I be required to upload a picture for my membership card?

Uploading a picture for your membership card is currently optional.

What happens to my information stored in the old membership platform?

Your information has been securely transferred onto the new platform, in line with our current GDPR protocol.

Can I still contact EMD UK via telephone and email?

Yes, the EMD UK team is still happy to provide support or answers to any questions. Simply submit your question or request through the contact us form here.

What file formats will be accepted for uploading documents into the platform?

To make things as easy as possible, the platform supports a wide range of popular file types, including PDFs, JPEGs, JPGs, and PNGs. Plus, you can upload files up to 20MB in size.

A guide to your new EMD UK membership platform

EMD UK has recently moved to a new membership platform, powered by Sport:80. Here we explain the reason for the changes, what the new platform will look like, and provide guidance and advice on how to use the new platform.

The transition to a new membership platform is part of a project being carried out at EMD UK to replace an ageing technology stack, which has been in place for over a decade and is no longer fit for purpose.

Following user testimonials and anecdotal feedback from you about the current technology offering, we have moved to this new platform to provide a better service for our members. You can access this new platform by clicking the log in button in the top right of the website, or click join now to become a new EMD UK member on the new platform.

Membership Platform FAQs

To help you navigate the platform, we have compiled a list of FAQs to address any of the more common issues you may come across. If you have an issue that can’t be solved by this FAQ list, please reach out to our team.

When you enter the platform, you will be prompted to select a membership tier from the three options available with EMD UK: Community, Pro and Pro Enhanced. The platform will guide you through the steps to sign up for the membership tier, creating an account at the same time.

If you are applying for a Pro or Pro Enhanced membership, you will need to upload certificates to show your qualifications to be eligible for that tier of membership. The Membership FAQs will provide details on the accepted qualifications.

You can easily access your profile from the home dashboard in the membership platform and can update most of your details there. If there are any details that you can’t change, please contact our membership team using our contact us form.

If you would like to change further details of your membership e.g. your membership type or set up automatic renewals, details of those can be found in our walkthrough guides.

You will be able to access your Pro certificate or insurance certificate by logging into the EMD UK membership platform and navigating to your Memberships section. From there, click the three dots at the end of your active membership and if your membership gives you access to a Pro certificate or insurance certificate, you will be able to view and download it there.

If you are an EMD UK member – whether Community, Pro or Pro Enhanced – you have access to the EMD UK instructor resource hub.

As an existing member, you will already have access to the resource hub through the login details you already hold. You can access the resource hub here and log in using your details.

If you are a new EMD UK member, you will have received an invite from the membership team / Kajabi, inviting you to sign up to the resource hub. Once you have registered, you will be able to access the resources. If you are having trouble with accessing the resource hub, please reach out to our team through our contact us form and they’ll be happy to help.

If you choose to join the EMD UK Pro or Pro Enhanced membership, you will receive access to discounted PPL credits. The discount reduces the PPL credit cost to £2.56 per class credit for purchases made between 1st May 2026 and 30th April 2027.

To purchase these credits, you will need to log into the EMD UK membership platform and navigate to the “Buy PPL credits” option in your account. From there, follow the process to purchase your PPL credits. You can also watch a walkthrough guide to this process and follow along.

Log into your account. You’ll see your name and email address right in the middle of the dashboard.

To view your membership details such as your phone number, mailing address, etc., click the button that says, “View Profile.” The button is located directly below your name and email address.

To renew a membership, click the “View” button on your membership profile card, beside the text indicating your membership expiration date.

If your membership is lapsed, you’ll be immediately directed to a screen which allows you to choose a different membership tier if you wish, as well as update any address or contact information.

To ensure your membership doesn’t lapse again, enable the “Auto Renewal” option and double check that your information is still correct before renewing.
