Two of our colleagues took part in Tesco’s Dance Beats charity fund raiser

EMD UK joins Tesco Dance Beats

Demonstrating how much we love group exercise generally and dance fitness in particular, two of our colleagues took part in Tesco’s Dance Beats event recently.  Dance Beats culminated in an epic 30-hour world record attempt at Wembley stadium where over 6,000 Tesco colleagues and  members of the public, including our very own Chloe and Antoinette, came together to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for the world’s longest dance marathon relay.

The fund-raising campaign supported three national health charity partners – Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

If you would like to be a fund-raiser and have fun at the same time, why not organise one of our Dance the Distance® events?  The concept was developed and extensively tested to match 5km (or multiples if you wanted to do a longer distance) as closely as possible, for people who don’t like running. It is a great-big-group-exercise event designed to take participants on an incredible journey, experience different dance styles and enjoy a wide variety of music. For more information, our participants’ FAQs sheet is available from our website.
