“Marcus Kingwell has taken the decision to move on from his position as CEO of EMD UK. During his 3 years at the helm, Marcus led the creation of a new strategy providing EMD UK with greater focus and clarity in their support of group exercise instructors. During his tenure, the company also secured System Partner status with Sport England to work as an integral part of their mission in uniting the movement. This was a key milestone and places EMD UK alongside other NGBs and at the heart of a collaborative partnership. Marcus will leave the organisation with an ambition for growth, a new digital programme being developed and a thirst to go higher and further in helping group exercise instructors to be the best they can be. I am sure you will join me and the board in thanking him for his service and wishing him well for the future.”
