EMD UK and Choreography2go announce partnership to support instructor education
Choreography2go, led by industry expert Rachel Holmes, is entering into a new partnership with EMD UK.
This partnership will see its portfolio of continuing professional development (CPD) courses recognised through the EMD UK CPD Recognition Programme, alongside the development of a new educational resource for group exercise professionals.
Choreography2Go provides qualifications and training which support individuals entering the group exercise industry as instructors, alongside a wide range of CPD training for instructors looking to develop their skills across their careers.
As well as working directly with individual instructors, Choreography2Go also delivers training programmes for leisure operators and trusts, supporting workforce development across the sector.
Their wide range of courses includes Fitness Pilates, which will be the first to go through the EMD UK CPD recognition programme. Additional programmes from the Choreography2go portfolio will follow, including: Step, Menofit™, Lift Lean™, Sit Fitness, Seniors Strong™, WalkFit™ plus Social Media Training & Business Building Workshops.
As part of the partnership, Rachel Holmes and EMD UK are also developing a new bite-sized learning course for the EMD UK Resource Hub. Launching in Q3 2026, the course will help instructors maximise business opportunities during the final quarter of the year, covering topics such as diversifying income streams, optimising class timetables and planning for long-term growth.
Further details on the course launch will be announced via EMD UK and Rachel Holmes’ social media channels later this year.
Shelley Meyern, COO at EMD UK, says:
“We’re delighted to welcome Choreography2go to the EMD UK CPD Recognition Programme. Rachel has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education to group exercise professionals, and we’re pleased to be able to recognise that work while also collaborating on new learning opportunities for our members.”
Rachel Holmes, Director of Choreography2go, says:
“Supporting group fitness instructors and professional development is at the heart of everything we do at Choreography2go. Having our courses recognised by EMD UK is an important milestone, and we’re excited to work together to create even more valuable learning opportunities that help instructors build sustainable, successful careers.”
This partnership marks the beginning of an ongoing collaboration between EMD UK and Choreography2go. Further learning opportunities will be coming throughout the year, including a webinar hosted by Rachel Holmes in September and further educational content for the EMD UK community. Details will be announced closer to each launch.
