Train the trainer with EMD UK
EMD UK held its latest Level 3 Education and Training Qualification course recently. The course is aimed at people who wish to become a teacher trainer or tutor within the further education and skills sectors.
The first part of the practical course was attended by five students. Tutor Karen Chetwynd took them through topics such as different ways of learning, and how to assess and give constructive feedback. The students had to deliver a 30-minute micro teaching session on a subject of their choice. Topics ranged from netball, knitting and musicality to meditation and making paper planes so there was plenty of opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge learned during the day.
The course consists of four full days, taking place over two weekends. It is ideal for any group exercise instructors who wish to expand their skillset and either join our workforce or teach qualification courses to the next generation of instructors.
